Being part of the last one of a series of group exhibitons, I heard from the organizing team that the building was being torn down right after the last edition. ENDING, ORCHESTRATED is a work that talks about endings through a sound piece played on loop in the space. It brings together recordings of a list of words in the English language that phonetically end with the sound end, words used in written formal mediums such as emails to say goodbye, and other fragments of texts I wrote for the project; all being rhytmically accompanied with live recorded typewriter beats, orchestrating an en ending scenario. In the space is installed approximately 200 A4 pages that are scanned and photocopied versions of the original typewritten documents that visualize parts of the recorded texts on notation paper. The notation papers are also in a loop, attached with thin nails on the wall.
