At the occassion of the collaborative event between the indepedent artbook store COMMENTARIVM and my book veya tutkal, I installed lines of poems from the book to be exhibited for a month at the bookstore in various corners. The artist talk revolved around process of writing and designing the book, as well as some readings from the book due to its nature in holding a special section: “reading notes” - where a selection of poems from the book are revisited at the end of the book with additional notes that suggest theatrical gestures, associative thoughts and performative connections for the reader. A series of postcards, as well as poster editions of calligraphy work made by Yasemin Erten were added in the catalogue of COMMENTARIVM, as it is a unique place that not only sells books but does so in treating them as works of art, creating a large body of archive where printed matter, ideas and researches from all around the world are preserved in the same physical space.
